CORA Cleanups

DSC09762.jpg

While cleanups aren't the solution to our climate crisis, they must be done.

Since 2017, CORA has been hosting monthly coastal cleanups to help recover marine debris from our ocean, and to create a platform for others to be a part of the solution. Volunteers from all ages are welcome.

With your support, you can help keep our cleanup activities alive. Each donation funds operational costs, logistics like tools, hauling and manpower, and continued support for the Bakawan Warriors that clean Las Piñas-Parañaque Wetland Park everyday.

Data-powered solution to plastic pollution

WASTE WARRIOR CLEANUP | CITIZEN SCIENCE CLEANUP

We don't just pick up trash. Each piece of marine litter is categorized, sorted, counted, and weighed using methods that turn every cleanup into a data collection effort. This isn't tidying up a beach. It's building the evidence base to stop marine pollution at the source.

The data we collect feeds into reports submitted to scientific organizations like OSEAN and CleanSwell, where it becomes our greatest asset — referenced in policy recommendations, shared with private sector partners and public sector decision-makers to push for better waste management and hold overproducers accountable.
